No Shopping in Heaven

Today, as always, Reagan was asking me questions as we drove to my favorite store. (Target--for those of you not in the know.) She asked me about the earth and who made it and then stopped asking questions and started telling me about heaven.

"We didn't used to live on earth mom we lived with Jesus. There were no roads or cars. And people didn't buy things there because there weren't any stores. But there were people and houses. Some of the people were bad. But there were lots of trees."

Now, I don't necessarily believe that she remembers life before earth life. But I really hadn't thought about what was there and what wasn't. Clearly there weren't any Target stores but I do like the idea that we lived in houses. Of course to really make it "heaven" for me I'd have had a maid to clean that house.
