Something Smells Fishy

We can count on one hand the number of times we have been fishing since we left MN. I know, really sad. This weekend was free fishing in MA so we took the kids for a trial run at the local pond.

Here is Reagan and her beautiful pose for the camera. She had such a blast fishing. She saw the fishing poles out at the beginning of the week and asked everyday, "Now are we going to go fishing?" Somedays she asked every two minutes until I had to just walk out of the room.

Lilly also enjoyed fishing. She figured out quickly that the best way to fish is while relaxin'.

Rachael was really doing great on her casting by the end of our fishing trip. She was the only one to get any nibbles. Alas, no fish were harmed on this fishing venture.

A few worms though did sacrifice their little lives. On the way back to the car, Reagan dropped the worm bucket and we "lost" another worm. She cried for five minutes about it. Thank goodness she didn't see what we would have done to the fish.

Dad did a great job of teaching and getting the poles ready.

On the way out I saw this duck who clearly wasn't interested in fishing. He just wanted to play some baseball.
