Our Primary often has the children write their own parts for the Primary Program. I asked Reagan what she can do to prepare to go to the temple. Here's the conversation.
Reagan, "It's hot out. I might be thirsty there. Can I bring a water bottle?"
Mom, "We're not going right now. How can you prepare for when you get married in the temple?"
Reagan, "I can wear a white dress. There's white on my jammies. See look. (two seconds of silence) Mom, can you come with? Can a boy come?"
Mom, "Do you mean the boy you are going to marry?"
Reagan, "Yes!"
Mom, "Yes, a boy can come."
Reagan, "Can we go to the playground after?"
I eventually got a satisfactory answer about prayer and how if we don't talk to Heavenly Father He will be sad.
It is fairly easy to understand Reagan's thought process because she says EVERYTHING she thinks.
